Early Life

Angham Mohamed Ali Suleiman, known simply as Angham, was born on January 19, 1972, in Alexandria, Egypt. She is the eldest child of Mohamed Suleiman, a prominent violinist and music composer, and Mageda Abdel Haleem, an artist. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in music, Angham was exposed to the arts from a young age. The family later moved to Cairo, where Angham's musical journey began to take shape. She has three siblings, including a brother who studied music arrangements.

Music Career

Angham's musical career took off when she began singing at the age of sixteen, guided by her uncle, Emad Abdel Haleem. Her first public performance was at Cairo's Radio syndicate ceremony, where she sang a song dedicated to mothers. In 1987, she released her debut album, "Fil Rokn elBaeed elHady," produced by Sayed Naser, marking her entry into the music industry. Over the years, Angham has released numerous successful albums, including "Leih Sebtaha" and "Omry Maak," establishing herself as a leading figure in Arabic pop music. After a notable feud with her former record label, she transitioned to Rotana Music Group, further solidifying her career.

Personal Life

Angham's personal life has been as dynamic as her career. She married Magdy Aref in 1999, with whom she had a son, Omar. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2000, which attracted significant media attention. Following a period of singlehood, Angham married music arranger Fahd in 2004 in a lavish ceremony attended by many celebrities, although her father and son chose not to attend. Despite the challenges in her personal life, Angham has maintained a strong presence in the music industry, balancing her roles as a singer and a mother.
