Golden Landis Von Jones, known professionally as 24kGoldn, was born on November 13, 2000, in San Francisco, California. He grew up in a culturally rich household, with an Ashkenazi Jewish mother and an African-American Catholic father, celebrating both Christmas and Hanukkah. His early exposure to the arts included acting in commercials and singing in school choirs, which nurtured his passion for music. Initially aspiring to become a hedge fund manager, he graduated from Lowell High School in 2018 and later attended the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. However, he took a leave of absence to pursue his burgeoning music career.

Career Breakthrough

24kGoldn's music career took off in 2017 with the release of his first music video for "Trappers Anthem." His breakout single, "Valentino," released in January 2019, garnered over 350 million plays on Spotify and marked his entry into the Billboard Hot 100. Following this success, he released his debut EP, "Dropped Outta College," in November 2019, and signed with Columbia Records.
