Aaron Charles Carter was born on December 7, 1987, in Tampa, Florida, to parents Jane Schneck and Robert Gene Carter. Growing up in a musical family, Aaron was influenced by his older brother Nick, a member of the Backstreet Boys, and began his musical journey at a young age. He attended several elementary schools in Florida and was introduced to the entertainment world early on, performing as the lead singer of a band called Dead End at just seven years old. After leaving the band, he pursued a solo career, making his first appearance at age nine, which led to a record contract and the release of his self-titled debut album in 1997.

He publicly came out as bisexual in 2017 and had a son born in November 2021. Despite his fame, Aaron faced significant challenges, including mental health issues, which he openly discussed, revealing his struggles with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and anxiety. His journey was often tumultuous, with family feuds and personal battles playing out in the public eye until his untimely passing on November 5, 2022.
