Bob Marley, born Robert Nesta Marley on February 6, 1945, in Nine Mile, Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica, was the son of Norval Sinclair Marley, a white Jamaican of Welsh descent, and Cedella Malcolm, an Afro-Jamaican.
