Daniella Monet Zuvic was born in West Hills, California, to a diverse heritage that includes Chilean, Croatian, Spanish, and Italian roots. She has one brother, Mario Zuvic, and grew up in a vibrant environment that likely influenced her artistic pursuits from a young age.

Monet's career began in 2003 with a recurring role on the NBC drama series American Dreams, followed by a notable appearance on the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules. She was also a contender for the lead role in Hannah Montana, showcasing her talent early on. However, she gained widespread recognition for her role as Trina Vega in the Nickelodeon series Victorious from 2010 to 2013, where she portrayed the quirky and talentless sister of Victoria Justice's character.
