Disclosure

Formation

Disclosure, the English electronic music duo, was formed in 2010 by brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. Growing up in Reigate, Surrey, they were influenced by their musician parents, which sparked their early interest in music. They began creating music in a room above their father's auction house, experimenting with electronic house music and uploading their tracks to Myspace. Their debut single, "Offline Dexterity," was released on August 29, 2010, marking the beginning of their journey in the music industry.

In January 2011, Disclosure signed with the newly formed PMR Records and released their second single, "Carnival/I Love... That You Know," on June 13, 2011. Their third studio album, "Energy," was released on August 28, 2020, and continued their streak of success with another Grammy nomination.
