Ian Anderson Paice was born on June 29, 1948, in England. He is best known as the drummer and an original member of the iconic rock band Deep Purple. Ian Paice is married to Jacky, who is the twin sister of the late Jon Lord's wife. The couple has three children: James, Emmy, and Calli. Despite a health scare in 2016 when he suffered a mini-stroke, Paice made a swift recovery and returned to performing shortly after. He is also known for his love of rugby, supporting the England team, and has a son who played the sport.
