Igor Cukrov, a talented Croatian pop singer-songwriter and musician, was born in Croatia and showed a keen interest in music from an early age. His musical journey began in 1991 when he won first prize in the "Moj prvi nastup" competition led by Remi Kazinotti. By 1993, he had already made a name for himself, winning first prize for the best voice at the "Pojišan" school and later achieving third place among all schools in Split. Cukrov continued to hone his craft, participating in various music festivals, including the children's version of the Split Festival in 1994, where he performed the song "Mali vrabac." His dedication paid off in 2003 when he won first prize for the best voice in Šibenik-Knin County.
