Evans made her acting debut in 2003 with a role in the Australian medical drama "All Saints". Her early career included a main role in an American campaign for Kool-Aid and a recurring part in the children's series "Snobs". However, it was her role as Matilda Hunter in the long-running soap opera "Home and Away" that brought her significant recognition, earning her nominations for a Logie Award and an Inside Soap Award. After leaving the series in 2008, she starred in the television film "A Model Daughter: The Killing of Caroline Byrne". In 2009, Evans took over the role of Isabella "Bella" Hartley in the children’s series "H2O: Just Add Water", where she not only acted but also performed the theme song "No Ordinary Girl" and contributed to the soundtrack album released in March 2011.
