Jeff Glen Bennett was born on October 2, 1962, in Houston, Texas. He honed his acting skills on stage at the Alley Theatre in Houston, which laid the foundation for his future career in voice acting. In 1990, Bennett moved to California with his family, seeking greater opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Career

Bennett's voice acting career began with his role as Horace "I.Q." Boothroyd the Third in the animated series James Bond Jr. He quickly gained recognition for his versatile voice, landing roles in various popular animated series. Notably, he voiced Brooklyn in Gargoyles and took over the role of Petrie in The Land Before Time series from the second film onward. However, it was his portrayal of the titular character in Johnny Bravo that catapulted him to fame. The show, which aired from 1997 to 2004, became a cult classic and earned Bennett multiple Annie Award nominations.

Throughout his career, Bennett has voiced a plethora of characters, including Ace and Grubber in The Powerpuff Girls, Drix in Ozzy and Drix, and Clank in Tinker Bell.
