Maya Ray Thurman Hawke was born on July 8, 1998, in New York City, to renowned actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. Growing up in a creative environment, she was exposed to the arts from a young age. Despite facing challenges with dyslexia, which led her to change schools frequently, she eventually found her footing at Saint Ann's School, a private institution known for its emphasis on artistic creativity.
