He achieved significant success in the United States with his rendition of "Love is Blue," which topped the charts for five weeks in 1968. His repertoire included popular tracks such as "El Bimbo," "Toccata," and "Penelope." In addition to his conducting, Mauriat co-wrote the song "Chariot" with fellow composer Franck Pourcel. Over his career, he released numerous albums, including "Le Grand Orchestre De Paul Mauriat Vol. 1," "La Reine De Saba," and "Love Is Still Blue," showcasing his versatility and appeal in the music industry.
