Early Life

Tyrese Darnell Gibson was born on December 30, 1978, in Watts, Los Angeles, California. Raised by his mother, Priscilla Murray Gibson, as a single parent alongside his three older siblings, Tyrese faced the challenges of growing up in a neighborhood influenced by gang culture. Despite these obstacles, he found inspiration from an older gangster named "Dirtbike Fred," who encouraged him to pursue a different path.
