Roza Kuanyshkyzy Rymbayeva, born on October 28, 1957, in Kazakhstan, is a celebrated Soviet and Kazakh singer known for her powerful voice and diverse musical styles. She began her artistic journey early, showcasing her talent in various competitions and performances.

Career Milestones

Rymbayeva's career took off in the 1970s when she won the first prize at the republican contest of initiative in 1975. She starred in the movie "First Song" in 1976 and became a prize-winner of the Lenin Komsomol that same year. Her remarkable achievements continued with a Grand Prix win at the USSR National TV Song Contest in 1977, followed by accolades at international festivals, including the Golden Orpheus in Bulgaria and the Sopot International Song Festival in Poland. Throughout her career, she has been recognized with numerous awards, including the People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR in 1979 and the Order of Parasat in 2000. Rymbayeva has also contributed to the arts as a teacher at the Republican stage-circus college since 1995.
