Terms of Use
This is a working draft. These legal texts have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and are not final — they will be reviewed and finalized before public launch.
These terms apply to the Public People network and all of its sites and subdomains, including the site you are currently on (music.music.thepublicpeople.com).
Last updated: [LEGAL_EFFECTIVE_DATE — set before launch]
These Terms of Use apply to the Public People network and all of its sites, including Public People Music. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
No warranty of accuracy
Profiles are compiled automatically from public sources and may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. The site and its content are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, including as to accuracy or completeness. If you rely on information from this site, you do so at your own risk.
Acceptable use
You may browse, link to, and share profiles freely. You may not scrape or bulk-download the site in a way that disrupts its operation, attempt to circumvent access controls, or use the site to harass, defame, or impersonate any person.
Comments and user content
Some profiles allow comments from registered users. Comments are opinions of visitors, not verified facts, and are not endorsed by Public People. Spam, harassment, and off-topic abuse are not allowed and may be removed; repeated violations may result in a ban. Use the in-page report button to flag a comment.
Intellectual property & takedown requests
We respect copyright and rely on openly licensed or embedded/linked third-party content rather than re-hosting copyrighted material. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a takedown request — by the report form or to [OWNER_CONTACT_EMAIL — set before launch] — including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) the URL of the material you believe infringes it, (3) your contact information, (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, and (5) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf. ⚖️ Registration of a formal takedown agent (e.g. under the US DMCA safe harbor) will be completed, if applicable, before public launch.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [SITE_LEGAL_NAME — set before launch] is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
⚖️ These terms are governed by the laws of [LEGAL_JURISDICTION — set before launch], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This will be confirmed before public launch.
