Offset

Early Life

Kiari Kendrell Cephus, known professionally as Offset, was born and raised in Gwinnett County, Georgia, adjacent to Atlanta. His journey into the music industry began at a young age when he appeared as a backup dancer in Whitney Houston's music video for "Whatchulookinat" at just 10 years old. This early exposure to the entertainment world would set the stage for his future career.

Career

Offset co-founded the hip-hop trio Migos in 2008 alongside fellow rappers Quavo and Takeoff. The group gained significant recognition with their 2013 single "Versace," but it was their 2017 hit "Bad and Boujee" that catapulted them to mainstream success, reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. Migos released four studio albums, including the critically acclaimed "Culture" series, before disbanding in 2023 and reuniting in 2026 as a duo. In addition to his work with Migos, Offset has pursued a solo career, collaborating with artists like 21 Savage and Metro Boomin, resulting in the successful album "Without Warning," which featured the platinum single "Ric Flair Drip."

Personal Life

Offset's personal life has been as public as his music career. He began dating fellow rapper Cardi B in 2017, and they married privately later that year. The couple has faced challenges, including allegations of infidelity and a brief separation in 2018. Despite these hurdles, they have continued to support each other, collaborating musically and welcoming two children together. Their relationship has been marked by ups and downs, but they remain a prominent couple in the hip-hop scene.
