Early Life

André Tanneberger, known professionally as ATB, was born on February 26, 1973, in Germany. He began his musical journey in the early 1990s, initially as part of a dance project called Sequential One. This project saw some success in Germany and helped him develop his skills as a musician and producer.

Career

In 1998, Tanneberger launched his solo project ATB, marking a significant turning point in his career. His debut single "9 PM (Till I Come)" became a massive hit, reaching No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in 1999. This track featured a distinctive synthesized slide guitar riff that became synonymous with his early work. Following this success, he released his first album, "Movin' Melodies," which solidified his status in the electronic dance music scene. Over the years, ATB has released numerous albums, including "Two Worlds," "Dedicated," and "Addicted to Music," showcasing his evolution as an artist and his ability to blend various genres such as progressive trance, vocal trance, and dance-pop.

Personal Life

ATB married his second wife, Laura Gabriela, on July 6, 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in 2020, followed by a daughter in 2023. Despite his busy career, ATB has managed to maintain a balance between his professional and personal life, often sharing glimpses of his family with fans.
