Early Life

Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard Sr., known as Dame D.O.L.L.A., was born on July 15, 1990, in the United States. Growing up in Oakland, California, Lillard faced challenges in his neighborhood, which influenced his decision to pursue a college education away from home. He began his high school basketball career at Arroyo High School before transferring to St. Joseph Notre Dame High School and finally to Oakland High School, where he excelled as a player, earning First Team All-League honors in his junior and senior years.

College Career

Lillard attended Weber State University, where he made a significant impact on the basketball program. He was named the Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year and went on to lead the conference in scoring during his sophomore year. Despite suffering a foot injury that sidelined him for a season, Lillard returned to dominate the court, finishing his college career as the second-highest scorer in Weber State history. His impressive performance earned him a spot in the 2012 NBA Draft, where he was selected sixth overall by the Portland Trail Blazers.

Professional Career

Lillard quickly made a name for himself in the NBA, winning the Rookie of the Year Award in 2013 and becoming a nine-time All-Star. Known for his clutch performances, he earned the nickname "Dame Time" and became the Trail Blazers’ all-time leading scorer.
