Henry Albert Azaria, known as Hank Azaria, was born on April 25, 1964, in the Queens borough of New York City. He grew up in a family with Sephardic Jewish roots, where his father, Albert, ran dress-manufacturing businesses, and his mother, Ruth, was a publicist for Columbia Pictures.
