Jason Aldean

Early Life

Jason Aldine Williams, known professionally as Jason Aldean, was born on February 28, 1977, in Macon, Georgia. Raised by his mother after his parents separated when he was three, Aldean spent summers with his father in Homestead, Florida. His father introduced him to music by mapping out guitar chords, which Aldean practiced diligently. By age 14, inspired by country music awards, he began performing locally, showcasing his talent at the VFW hall and local fairs. To create a unique stage name, he altered the spelling of his middle name, Aldine, to Aldean.

Career

Aldean's professional journey began after high school when he performed at clubs and festivals across the Southeast. His debut single, "Hicktown," released in 2005, marked the start of his successful career, reaching number 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. His self-titled debut album was certified platinum, and he quickly gained recognition, winning the title of "Top New Male Vocalist" at the 2006 ACM Awards. Over the years, Aldean has released numerous albums, including the six-times platinum "My Kinda Party" and the double-platinum "Night Train," solidifying his status as a leading figure in country music.

Personal Life

Aldean married Jessica Ann Ussery in 2001, with whom he has two daughters. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2013 after Aldean's public admission of inappropriate behavior. He later married Brittany Kerr in 2015, and they have two children together. Aldean is also a co-owner of the hunting company Buck Commander, showcasing his passion for outdoor activities alongside his music career.
