Jeremy Zucker

Early Life

Jeremy Scott Zucker was born and raised in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, in a musical household alongside his parents and two older brothers. His passion for music ignited during his high school years at Ramapo High School, where he began creating songs in his bedroom and joined a band called the "Foreshadows." His first composition was inspired by his brother's fear of heights. After graduating high school, Zucker pursued higher education at Colorado College, earning a degree in molecular biology in 2018. Before diving into music full-time, he worked as a snowboard instructor. As of June 27, 2024, he is married to influencer and model Mathilda Lou Roettger.

Career

Zucker's music career took off in 2015 with the self-release of his debut EP, "Beach Island." He followed this with the EP "Breathe" in 2016, which featured the breakthrough track "'Bout It." His 2017 EP "Motions" included the song "Heavy," later remixed by Blackbear, leading to their collaboration on the single "Talk Is Overrated" from Zucker's "Idle" EP. In 2018, he released the EPs "Stripped" and "Glisten," and his song "Comethru" gained international acclaim after its release in September 2018, marking a significant milestone in his career.

In 2019, Zucker collaborated with Chelsea Cutler on the single "You Were Good to Me," which was part of their EP "Brent." He continued to build his discography with albums such as "Love Is Not Dying" (2020), "Crusher" (2021), and "Garden State" (2025), solidifying his place in the pop music scene. Known for blending pop, R&B, and singer-songwriter styles, Zucker has cited influences from artists like Blink-182, Jon Bellion, and Mac Miller, and describes himself as a "social introvert."
