Early Life

Jessica Hannah Glynne was born on October 20, 1989, in Hampstead, North London, into a Jewish family. Raised in Muswell Hill, her mother, Alexandra, worked in A&R in the music industry, which likely influenced Glynne's passion for music from a young age. Although she was invited to audition for the second season of The X Factor at 15, she withdrew due to a disagreement with the producers. After completing her A-levels at Fortismere School in 2008, Glynne took various jobs while traveling the world, eventually working for a music management company where she began networking with songwriters and producers.
