Early Life

John Felix Anthony Cena was born on April 23, 1977, in West Newbury, Massachusetts, to Carol and John Joseph Cena. He grew up in a family with four brothers: Dan, Matt, Steve, and Sean. Cena's lineage includes notable figures, such as his maternal grandfather, Tony Lupien, a former baseball player. He attended Central Catholic High School and later Cushing Academy before pursuing higher education at Springfield College, where he excelled as a football player and graduated with a degree in exercise physiology and kinesiology in 1999.

Career

Cena's journey into the world of professional wrestling began in 1998 when he moved to California to train at Ultimate Pro Wrestling's Ultimate University.
