Julian Charles John Lennon was born on April 8, 1963, in Liverpool, England, to John Lennon of The Beatles and his first wife, Cynthia Powell. Named after his paternal grandmother, Julia, Julian's early life was marked by the fame of his father. He inspired several Beatles songs, including "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and "Hey Jude," the latter written by Paul McCartney to comfort him during his parents' divorce in 1968. Following the split, Julian had limited contact with his father, which left a lasting impact on their relationship.

Career

Julian made his musical debut at age 11 on his father's album "Walls and Bridges," playing drums on the track "Ya-Ya."
