Early Life

Kamaliya Zahoor, known simply as Kamaliya, was born on May 18, 1977, in Ukraine. She is a multifaceted artist, recognized as a singer, actress, television personality, and model. Her early passion for music and performance led her to become a laureate of the Chervona Ruta Festival in Ukraine in 1993, marking the beginning of her illustrious career in the entertainment industry.

Career

Kamaliya's career took off after she won the TV-Chance-Stars contest in Moscow in 1993. She graduated from the University of Culture in 1997 with a degree in Variety Art and Mass Shows Direction. Over the years, she has released several albums, including "From Dusk Till Dawn" and "Club Opera," and numerous singles such as "Crazy in My Heart" and "No Ordinary Love." Her song "Love You" won the National Hit Parade's "Song of the Year" in 2000. In recognition of her contributions to Ukrainian culture, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2004.

Kamaliya gained international fame through her participation in the British reality show "Meet the Russians" and has performed at various prestigious events, including the YUNA Music Awards and the Mr. Gay World pageant. She is also known for her philanthropic efforts, having established the Kamaliya & Mohammad Zahoor Charitable Foundation in 2014 to support various causes.

Personal Life

In 2003, Kamaliya married British/Pakistani businessman Mohammad Zahoor, and the couple welcomed twin daughters in 2013. Beyond her artistic endeavors, she has been actively involved in charity work, supporting children with AIDS and participating in international missions to provide aid in Pakistan. Kamaliya's commitment to both her art and humanitarian efforts has made her a beloved figure in Ukraine and beyond.
