Biography
Formation
Khors is a Ukrainian black metal band formed in August 2004 in Kharkiv by Khorus, the former bass guitarist of the band Astrofaes. The lineup was soon expanded with the addition of drummer Khaoth, also a former member of Astrofaes, and later, guitarist and vocalist Helg, who had played with Runes of Dianceht. The band quickly began to make a name for itself, recording their debut album, "The Flame of Eternity’s Decline," which was released in April 2005. This album featured collaborations with notable musicians such as Saturious from Nokturnal Mortum and Wortheaux from Finist.
Breakthrough
Following their debut, Khors released their second album, "Cold," in December 2006, which further solidified their presence in the metal scene. The band continued to tour extensively in Ukraine and Russia, gaining a loyal fanbase. Over the years, Khors has released a total of eight full-length albums, including "Mysticism" (2008), "Return to Abandoned" (2010), and "Letters to the Future Self" (2024).
