Early Life

Mark Daniel Ronson was born on September 4, 1975, in Notting Hill, London, into a prominent family with deep roots in the music industry. His father, Laurence Ronson, was a music manager and publisher, while his mother, Ann Dexter, was a writer and jewelry designer. After his parents' divorce, he moved to New York City at the age of eight, where he befriended Sean Lennon and developed a passion for music. A self-described music nerd, Ronson secured an internship at Rolling Stone magazine at just 12 years old. He later attended Vassar College and New York University, obtaining American citizenship in 2008 to participate in the presidential election.

Career

Ronson began his career as a DJ in the early 1990s, gaining recognition on the New York club scene.
