Early Life

Neil Patrick Harris was born on June 15, 1973, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and grew up in Ruidoso, New Mexico. He was raised in a family of lawyers, with both parents running a restaurant. Harris attended La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, where he graduated with high honors in 1991, thanks in part to private tutoring while working on film sets.
