Early Life

Nolan Gerard Funk was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and holds dual citizenship in Canada and Germany. His early years were marked by a passion for athletics, as he competed nationally in gymnastics until the age of 12 and also participated as a national diver.

Career

Funk's acting career began in 2001 with a role in the television series "Seven Days." He quickly made a name for himself, appearing in various productions, including the short film "Moon in the Afternoon" and the acclaimed Marvel film "X2." His breakout role came when he starred in the Nickelodeon movie "Spectacular!" which led to his first live concert performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City in January 2009. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Hunter Clarington in the musical comedy-drama series "Glee" and has also appeared in notable series such as "Awkward" and "The Flight Attendant."
