Early Life

Victoria Louise "Pixie" Lott was born on January 12, 1991, in Bromley, London, as the third child of Beverley and Stephen Lott. Nicknamed "Pixie" for her tiny, fairy-like appearance as a premature baby, she began her musical journey at a young age, singing in her church school. At five, she attended the Italia Conti Associates Saturday school, and by eleven, she earned a scholarship to the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. Lott's early performances included roles in West End productions, such as playing Louisa von Trapp in the BBC's "Celebrate the Sound of Music" in 2005.

Career

Lott's career took off when she was signed by L. A. Reid at just 15 years old. After a brief stint with Island Def Jam Music Group, she signed with Mercury Records in the UK. Her debut album, "Turn It Up," released in 2009, reached number six on the UK Albums Chart and sold over 1.5 million copies. The album produced six top twenty singles, including two number ones, "Mama Do" and "Boys and Girls." Lott's musical style has been influenced by iconic artists like Celine Dion and Beyoncé, and she has contributed to songs for other artists, showcasing her songwriting talent.

Personal Life

In 2010, Lott began dating fashion model Oliver Cheshire, and they became engaged in 2016. The couple married at Ely Cathedral on June 6, 2022, after a delay due to COVID-19. In June 2023, they announced they were expecting their first child, and in November 2023, they welcomed their son, Albert Charles. Lott is also known for her philanthropic efforts, serving as a patron for the Penny for London charity and supporting West Ham United.
