Ruby Rose Langenheim was born on March 20, 1986, in Melbourne, Australia, to a young single mother, Katia Langenheim. As a child, she moved frequently, living in various locations including rural Victoria, Tasmania, and Surfers Paradise, before finally settling back in Melbourne. Ruby is the great-granddaughter of German actress Ellen Bang and Australian soldier Alec Campbell, who was the last survivor of the Battle of Gallipoli. She attended University High School and Footscray City College, where she began to explore her identity and interests.

Career

Ruby Rose's career began in the fashion industry when she participated in the Girlfriend model search in 2002, finishing as a runner-up. She quickly became a prominent figure in Australian fashion, featuring in major publications like Vogue Australia and Maxim, and serving as the face of brands such as Maybelline and Urban Decay.
