Scott Grimes

Early Life

Scott Christopher Grimes was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, to Pam and Rick Grimes. He spent his early years in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before moving to Dracut, Massachusetts, at the age of ten. Growing up in a creative family, his sister Heather Grimes is also an actress, and he is the uncle of Camryn Grimes, known for her roles on *The Young and the Restless*.

Career

Grimes began his career in acting at a young age, co-starring with Mickey Rooney in the 1984 TV movie *It Came Upon the Midnight Clear*. He showcased his singing talent early on, performing on a Bob Hope TV special in 1986. His music career took off with the release of his debut album, *Scott Grimes*, in 1989, featuring the single "I Don't Even Mind" produced by Richard Carpenter. He followed this with two more albums, *Livin' on the Run* in 2005 and *Drive* in 2010. Grimes is also known for his acting roles, including Gordon Malloy on *The Orville* and Dr. Archie Morris on *ER*.

Personal Life

Grimes has been married twice; his first marriage to Dawn Bailey-Grimes produced a son and a daughter. He later married Megan Moore in 2011, but they divorced in 2017. In 2019, he married his *Orville* co-star Adrianne Palicki, although their relationship faced challenges, leading to a brief separation and divorce filing in 2020. Grimes continues to balance his careers in acting and music, showcasing his versatility as an entertainer.
