Early Life

Stella Nyambura Mwangi was born in 1986 in Murang'a, located in the Central Province of Kenya. At the age of five, her family relocated to Eidsvoll, Norway, where she began her musical journey. By the age of eight, Stella was already practicing music, inspired by her father's dedication to teaching her and her siblings the Gikuyu language and Swahili through cultural music and poetry. This early exposure to her heritage deeply influenced her artistic development and connection to Kenyan culture.

Stella Mwangi is a talented Kenyan-Norwegian singer, rapper, and songwriter known for her vibrant contributions to pop music. She gained international recognition when she represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with her catchy single "Haba Haba."
