Formation

Tomorrow X Together, commonly known as TXT, is a South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment on January 10, 2019. The group consists of five original members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai. The formation of TXT was announced as part of Big Hit's plans for a second boy group, with the debut date set in late 2018. Following their official reveal, the group released introduction films on YouTube to introduce each member to fans.

Breakthrough

TXT made their official debut with the extended play (EP) "The Dream Chapter: Star" on March 4, 2019. Their debut showcase took place the following day, and the lead single "Crown" quickly gained popularity, breaking records for the most viewed K-pop debut music video within 24 hours. The EP topped both the Gaon Album Chart and the Billboard World Albums Chart, while "Crown" debuted at number one on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart. This remarkable success established TXT as one of the fastest rising groups in the K-pop industry.

Since their debut, TXT has released several successful albums and EPs, including "The Dream Chapter: MAGIC," "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," and "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL."
