Formation
BigBang, a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment, made their official debut on August 19, 2006, during the YG Family 10th Anniversary Concert at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul. The group originally consisted of five members: G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri. G-Dragon and Taeyang were the first to train under YG Entertainment, and their journey began when G-Dragon reached out to T.O.P, who was an underground rapper at the time. The formation of BigBang was documented on television, capturing the public's interest even before their debut.
Breakthrough and Key Releases
