Krystyna Viktorivna Voloshchuk, known professionally as Luna, is a Ukrainian singer-songwriter born on August 28, 1990. She has made a name for herself in the music industry as an indie pop artist, blending various genres including synth-pop, electropop, and house music. Luna's artistic journey began with her passion for music and performance, which she has cultivated over the years.

Career

Luna's career took off with the release of her debut album "Mag-ni-ty" on May 20, 2016, which quickly climbed into the top 20 of iTunes Ukraine. Following this, she collaborated with electronic artist Shumno on the track "Wake" and embarked on an autumn tour called "Zatmenie". Her subsequent albums, including "Island of Freedom" and "Enchanted Dreams", showcased her growth as an artist, with the former debuting at number 1 on the iTunes Ukraine chart. In 2019, she released her fourth album, "Trans", and in 2020, the mini-album "Fata Morgana". Most recently, in May 2023, Luna released "Illusion", her first album entirely in Ukrainian, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Personal Life

Luna's personal life has been as dynamic as her music career. She was married to Yuriy Bardash from 2012 to 2018, with whom she has a son named Heorhii. In 2021, she married Oleksandr Voloshchuk, the guitarist from her band. Luna is known for her healthy lifestyle, abstaining from alcohol and practicing yoga and meditation. She is also an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, participating in initiatives to support their rights in Ukraine.
