Polina Sergeyevna Gagarina was born on March 27, 1987, in Russia. She began her journey in music at a young age, showcasing her talent early on. Gagarina's passion for singing led her to participate in various competitions, ultimately culminating in her appearance on the reality show Star Factory in 2003, where she won the competition and gained significant recognition.

Career

Following her victory on Star Factory, Gagarina was invited to join the girl group Playgirls, which, despite receiving a recording contract, disbanded shortly after. She released her debut album, "Попроси у облаков" (Poprosi u oblakov), in 2007, marking the beginning of her solo career. Over the years, she released several successful albums, including "О себе" (O sebe) in 2010 and "9" in 2015. Gagarina gained international fame when she represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with her powerful ballad "A Million Voices," finishing in second place with a record-breaking 303 points.

In addition to her music career, Gagarina participated in the Chinese reality competition Singer in 2019, where she was a finalist, further showcasing her versatility as an artist.
