Antony Costa

Early Life

Antony Daniel Costa was born in Edgware, North London, and grew up with a diverse cultural background, being half-Greek Cypriot and half-Jewish. He attended Hendon School in Barnet and later the American Academy of Larnaca before returning to England.

Career

Antony Costa is best known as a member of the successful boy band Blue, which he co-founded in 2000 alongside Duncan James, Lee Ryan, and Simon Webbe. The group quickly rose to fame with their debut single "All Rise," which reached number 4 on the UK Singles Chart. Their follow-up, "Too Close," topped the charts, and their debut album, also titled "All Rise," sold over 1.8 million copies in the UK. Blue continued their success with subsequent albums, including "One Love" and "Guilty," both of which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. Beyond music, Costa has also made appearances in television, including roles in the sitcom "Chalk" and the children's drama "Grange Hill."

Personal Life

Outside of his music career, Antony Costa is a passionate supporter of Tottenham Hotspur and holds a season ticket for the team. His dedication to the club reflects his deep-rooted connection to his local community and interests beyond music.
