Early Life

Cher Lloyd was born on July 28, 1993, in Malvern, Worcestershire, England. Raised in a Romani family, she spent her early years traveling around Wales in a caravan with her parents, Darren and Diane, and her three younger siblings, Sophie, Josh, and Rosie. Cher faced bullying in school due to her background, but she found solace in performing arts, attending the Chase School and later Dyson Perrins High School. At 13, she honed her skills at the theatre arts school Stagecoach for 18 months.

Career

Lloyd's career took off when she participated in the seventh series of the television talent show The X Factor in 2010, where she finished in fourth place. Her unique style and talent caught the attention of the judges, leading to her signing with Syco Music in the UK and Epic Records in the US. In 2011, she released her debut album, "Sticks and Stones," which peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart and included hit singles like "Swagger Jagger," which debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, and "With Ur Love."

Over the years, Cher has evolved as an artist, blending pop, R&B, and hip-hop influences into her music. She has collaborated with notable artists like Demi Lovato and Becky G, showcasing her growth and maturity in her sound. Personal Life

In January 2012, Cher Lloyd announced her engagement to Craig Monk, and they married in 2013. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Delilah-Rae, in May 2018. Recently, in April 2023, they announced they were expecting their second child, who was born on September 9, 2023. Cher continues to balance her family life with her evolving music career, drawing inspiration from her experiences as a mother and artist.
