Corbin Bleu

Early Life

Corbin Bleu Reivers was born in Brooklyn, New York City, in 1989 to Martha, an Italian-American, and David Reivers, a Jamaican-American actor. Bleu's artistic journey began early; he appeared in television commercials at just two years old and was modeling by age four. He trained in dance, focusing on ballet and jazz, and participated in his first professional theater production at six. Bleu graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and was accepted into Stanford University, which he declined to pursue his career in entertainment.

Career

Bleu's career took off in the late 1990s with roles in television and film, including a notable part in the High School Musical trilogy as Chad Danforth. His music career began with the release of his debut album, "Another Side," in May 2007, which debuted at No. 36 on the Billboard 200. The album featured the hit single "Push It to the Limit," which reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. Bleu toured extensively, performing alongside fellow Disney stars and contributing to various projects, including collaborations with artists like Ne-Yo.

Personal Life

In addition to his artistic endeavors, Bleu is known for his philanthropic efforts, supporting organizations like Do Something. He became engaged to actress Sasha Clements in 2014, and they married in 2016. His contributions to theater were recognized when he was added to the "Broadway Wall of Fame" in 2010, highlighting his impact on the performing arts.
