Delta Lea Goodrem was born on November 9, 1984, in Sydney, Australia, to Lea and Denis Goodrem. She grew up with a younger brother, Trent, and began her artistic journey at a young age, appearing in advertisements and taking singing, dancing, and acting lessons. By the age of seven, she had already recorded a demo CD, which led to her signing with talent manager Glenn Wheatley and an artist development deal with Empire Records.

Career

Goodrem's music career took off with the release of her debut album, "Innocent Eyes," in 2003, which became one of Australia's highest-selling albums, spending 29 weeks at number one and selling over 1.2 million copies domestically.
