Early Life

Gracie Madigan Abrams was born on September 7, 1999, in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in Pacific Palisades. She is the daughter of filmmaker J.J. Abrams and producer Katie McGrath, with a rich family background in the entertainment industry. Gracie developed a passion for music early on, writing her first songs at the age of eight. After attending The Archer School for Girls, she graduated in 2018 and briefly enrolled at Barnard College to study international relations before deciding to pursue her music career.

Career

Gracie's music career took off when she signed with Interscope Records in 2019, releasing her debut single "Mean It" that October. Her first extended play, "Minor," was released in July 2020, featuring the popular track "I Miss You, I'm Sorry." Following this success, she released her second EP, "This Is What It Feels Like," in November 2021, which included singles like "Feels Like" and "Rockland." In 2023, she released her debut album, "Good Riddance," and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Gracie has also gained recognition for her live performances, opening for Olivia Rodrigo on her Sour Tour and Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour.
