Ha*Ash is a Mexican-American Latin pop duo formed in 2002 by sisters Hanna Nicole and Ashley Grace. The duo's name is a clever blend of letters from their first names. They signed with Sony Music Latin at a young age, with Hanna being 16 and Ashley 15, and quickly made a name for themselves in the Latin music scene. Their debut single, "Odio Amarte," released in April 2002, became a hit, paving the way for their self-titled debut album, which was released on May 11, 2003. The album peaked at No. 3 on the Mexican album charts and No. 19 on the US Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart.

Breakthrough

Following their initial success, Ha*Ash released several albums, including "Mundos opuestos," "Habitación doble," and "A tiempo," showcasing their evolving sound that blends country, pop, and rock influences. Their second single, "Estés Donde Estés," gained further popularity as it was featured in a Televisa telenovela, solidifying their presence in the industry.
