Early Life

Izabella Scorupco was born on June 4, 1970, in Białystok, Poland, to Lech, a musician, and Magdalena Skorupko, a doctor. After her parents separated when she was just one year old, she moved to Sweden with her mother in 1978, where she learned to speak Swedish, English, and French. This multicultural upbringing laid the foundation for her diverse career in the arts.

Career

Scorupco's career began in the late 1980s when she worked as a model across Europe, even gracing the cover of Vogue. Her acting debut came in 1987 with the film "Ingen kan älska som vi". In the early 1990s, she transitioned into music, releasing her album "IZA" in 1991, which achieved gold status in Sweden. Her cover of "Shame, Shame, Shame" in 1992 became a hit across Europe, solidifying her status as a pop singer. After a brief hiatus, she returned to music in 2011, collaborating with Swedish musician Peter Jöback.

In addition to her music career, Scorupco is well-known for her role as Natalya Simonova in the 1995 James Bond film "GoldenEye". She also hosted the spring 2012 series of Sweden's Next Top Model and ventured into comedy with a lead role in the romantic comedy "Micke & Veronica" in 2014.

Personal Life

Scorupco's personal life has seen its share of changes. She married Polish ice hockey player Mariusz Czerkawski on December 25, 1996, but they divorced in 1998. In 2003, she married American Jeffrey Raymond, with whom she had a son, Jakob, before their divorce in 2015. Currently, she resides in Los Angeles and New York City and has been in a relationship with Karl Rosengren since 2017, marrying him on October 6, 2019. Scorupco became an American citizen in 2014, further reflecting her international lifestyle.
