Little Big

Formation

Little Big is a Russian rave band that was formed on April 1, 2013, in Saint Petersburg by musician Ilya Prusikin and videomaker Alina Pasok. The group made its debut with the video "Every Day I'm Drinking" and quickly gained attention, performing live for the first time on July 2, 2013, as the opening act for Die Antwoord. The original lineup included Anna Kast and Olympia Ivleva, alongside Prusikin and Pasok.

Breakthrough

The band released their first full-length album, "With Russia from Love," on March 17, 2014, which helped establish their presence in the music scene. Their second album, "Funeral Rave," was released on December 19, 2015, and reached the 8th position on the Russian iTunes chart. Little Big's music videos, particularly for songs like "Big Dick" and "Give Me Your Money," received accolades at the Berlin Music Video Awards in 2016, showcasing their unique blend of humor and provocative imagery.

Evolution

In 2018, Olympia Ivleva left the band, citing burnout after five years. The current lineup now includes Ilya Prusikin and Sonya Tayurskaya, who joined in 2016. Little Big has continued to evolve, producing a variety of music that spans genres such as rave, pop-punk, and hip-hop, while also maintaining a satirical edge that critiques national stereotypes. The band has toured extensively across Europe, Russia, and North America, solidifying their reputation as a leading act in the electronic dance music scene.
