Early Life

Mckenna Grace Burge was born on June 25, 2006, in Grapevine, Texas, to Ross Burge, an orthopedic surgeon, and Crystal Grace, a medical sales representative. As an only child, she was raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where she developed a passion for performing arts at a young age. Grace trained in various disciplines, including cheerleading, gymnastics, tap, and ballet, and even participated in beauty pageants, earning the title of "Tiny Miss Texas." Her interest in acting sparked at the age of four after watching Shirley Temple films, leading her to secure her first commercial role by age five. Following early successes, her family relocated to Los Angeles to support her burgeoning career.

Career

Grace's acting career began with a recurring role in the Disney XD sitcom "Crash & Bernstein" from 2012 to 2014. She gained further recognition for her role as Faith Newman on the soap opera "The Young and the Restless" and starred as a child prodigy in the film "Gifted" (2017), which marked a significant breakthrough in her career. Transitioning into music, Grace signed with Photo Finish Records in 2020 and released her debut single, "Haunted House," in November 2021. The song, which reflects her experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, was featured in the soundtrack for "Ghostbusters: Afterlife."
