Nick Carter

Early Life

Nickolas Gene Carter was born on January 28, 1980, in Jamestown, New York, to Jane Eleonora Schneck and Robert Carter. His family owned a bar called the Yankee Rebel in Westfield, New York, before moving to Ruskin, Florida, when Nick was four. There, they managed a retirement home and expanded their family, which included siblings Leslie, Aaron, Angel, and Bobbie Jean. Nick's early exposure to music and performance came from his mother, who enrolled him in voice lessons and dance classes, setting the stage for his future career.

Career

Carter's career began at a young age, performing in commercials and talent shows around Tampa Bay. He gained significant recognition as a lead vocalist of the Backstreet Boys, one of the best-selling boy bands in history. In addition to his work with the group, he has released four solo albums: "Now or Never" (2002), "I'm Taking Off" (2011), "All American" (2015), and "Love Life Tragedy" (2025). He also collaborated with Jordan Knight on the album "Nick & Knight" and made appearances on reality shows like "House of Carters" and "I (Heart) Nick Carter".

Personal Life

Carter's personal life has been marked by both triumphs and tragedies. He faced challenges following the death of his brother Aaron in 2022, which deeply affected him. In honor of Aaron, he released the song "Hurts to Love You" and hosted a benefit concert to support mental health awareness. Nick married Lauren Michelle Kitt in 2014, and they have three children together, residing in Las Vegas.
