Eric Hilliard "Ricky" Nelson was born on May 8, 1940, in Teaneck, New Jersey, to the famous entertainment couple Ozzie and Harriet Nelson. Growing up in a showbiz family, he was exposed to the world of entertainment from a young age, starring alongside his family in the radio and television series "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet."
