Music Career

Dulce María's music career took off in 1996 when she joined the children’s music group KIDS, which was popular in Mexico. After leaving KIDS in 1999, she formed a short-lived group called D&D with her then-boyfriend. This role led to the formation of the band RBD, which became a global phenomenon, selling over 20 million albums worldwide and touring extensively. RBD disbanded in 2008, but Dulce continued her solo career, releasing several albums, including "Extranjera: Segunda parte" and "Sin fronteras."

Acting Career

In addition to her music, Dulce María has had a successful acting career. She starred in the telenovela Clase 406 and later in Rebelde, which aired over 400 episodes. Her performance earned her the TVyNovelas Award for Best Young Lead Actress in 2006. After Rebelde, she continued to act in various projects, including the sitcom RBD: La familia and the telenovela Verano de amor, for which she also recorded theme songs.
