Early Life

Alfonso Herrera Rodríguez was born in Mexico City in 1983, growing up with two brothers, Alejandro and Oscar. He attended the prestigious Edron Academy, where he studied alongside notable figures like Gael García Bernal and Ximena Sariñana, graduating in 2002. Initially aspiring to be a pilot, Herrera shifted his focus to the arts, enrolling at the Centro de Educación Artística run by Televisa.

Career

Herrera's career began in theater, with performances in productions such as "Las Brujas de Salem" and "Antigona" in 2001. His breakthrough came in 2002 with the film "Amar te duele," leading to his role in the telenovela "Clase 406," where he collaborated musically with his castmates on the soundtrack. In 2004, he gained international fame as Miguel Arango in the hit series "Rebelde," which aired from 2004 to 2006 and featured over 400 episodes. Following this success, he starred in "RBD: La Familia," a sitcom that showcased the real personalities of the band members, marking a significant milestone as the first Mexican show filmed entirely in high definition.

Personal Life

Alfonso Herrera's personal life has seen its share of public interest. He dated actress Dulce María from 2002 to 2005, a relationship that blossomed during their time on "Clase 406." In 2016, he married journalist Diana Vázquez, with whom he has two sons, but the couple divorced in 2021. Herrera was also briefly linked to actress Ana de la Reguera, adding to his profile as a prominent figure in both the entertainment and music industries.
